  Even though I had only a few dollars, I was treated as I was the best customer of the day. It is not that often I go somewhere in Waterbury and get treated as well as I did here.

  The Bagel Exchange is close to my workplace, so I frequent it if I've managed to skip breakfast. The menu accommodates those looking for a $2.50 coffee and bagel to the full blown sausage, egg, and cheese on a bagel with your drink of choice.
  
  The atmosphere is very friendly. There are often 'regulars' there which makes it feel like a neighborhood meeting place rather than just a grab-and-go joint, although there are those of us who take our food for the road.
  
  Overall, definitely recommended for the target audience!
  
  *20150622 Edit -- Just hit up the biggest chain around instead of Bagel Exchange and regretted it immediately, stale bagel. To be fair, Dunkin' has usually been good enough for me when I'm rushing.
